She is leading an exciting leadership role as a confident, motivated and experienced professional. She is responsible for strategic communications, flagship events, as well as enhancing the reputation of EIS as a source of expertise, influence, impact and reach.

Park Myungsun

Senior Deputy Manager

Mr. Myungsun Park has worked for 5 years as a senior program specialist and a team manager of Multilateral Cooperation Team 1 in the Institute of APEC Collaborative Education (IACE), organizing and overseeing all APEC Learning Community Builders’ (ALCoB) global education cooperation activities.

Currently, he is a senior deputy manager in Work Together Foundation. Expanding his expertise and previous experiences into Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects, he is closely working with Samsung Engineering and Google.org, in order to build capacity of students and social entrepreneurs in the world by implementing fora and training programs.

He has high interests in PBL, focusing on problem-defining and problem-solving skills. Studying social entrepreneurship at graduate school, He believes that social entrepreneurship could be applied not only to real entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs-to-be, but also to teachers – what-so-called, teacherpreneurship – and learners at school, in a sense that it has a close linkage with PBL and a concept of learning by doing.

Khalilah Dato Mohd Talha

Chair of AFS Antarabudaya Malaysia

Khalilah has been a PR Practitioner for 34 years, graduating from the National University of Malaysia with an Honours degree in Political Science but found her career niche in the field of Communications instead. She had a 14-month stint with the National University of Malaysia in the Chancellery Division before branching out as a junior consultant with Eric White Associates, a PR consultancy firm, for a year and then moving on to UMW Holdings as a PR executive.

Doreen Ooi Choon Meng

( B.Ed in TESL, M. Ed in Moral Education )
Malaysia

Ooi Choon Meng is a lecturer and trainer at the Institute of Teacher Education, International Languages Campus, Kuala Lumpur. She trains pre-service and in-service teachers in English as a Second Language. She was a trainer in the Malaysia Australia Education Project for Afghanistan (MAEPA) and the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP).

Shaidatul Aidillah Binti Sulaiman also called as
Atty Sulaiman

Malaysia

Atty is an AFS returnee from New Zealand (1986). Her involvement with AFS started when she was 12 years old when her family hosted a girl from the USA in 1980. They had a wonderful experience that her family decided to host for another 6 consecutive years.

Atty graduated from the University College of Wales with BSc Econs in Accounting and Law in 1992. Upon her return, she was attached to the Central Market Development Sdn Bhd, in charge of the Cultural Performance.

In 1994 she joined AFS Malaysia. During her working tenure with AFS Malaysia, Atty has served in every AFS Department, before being promoted to National Director in 2001.
